Russian businessman Viktor Bout, released in December from an American prison as a result of an exchange for basketball player Brittney Griner, came to the DPR for the first time.
As informs Donetsk News Agency, he attended the founding conference of the local branch of the Liberal Democratic Party in Yenakiyevo and said that he, like any Russian person, has a desire to be there in difficult moments, to help the Motherland.
He expressed the hope that this year a federal structure will be created and will start working, which will help all Russians who find themselves in difficult situations abroad.
“I’m going to take an active part in it,” Viktor Bout added.
