Singer Vika Tsyganova celebrates her anniversary. Perhaps in this regard, her interview with Yuri Dudem (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) caused a great resonance. The artist admitted to MK what exactly angered her interlocutor.

– Are you still Vika?

– I’m young! People just got used to it. At the end of the concerts, on the major notes of victory, Vadim (Vika’s husband) always announces me as “Victoria”.

– How do you feel about your age?

– Very good. I hope that the next decade, God willing, will be the most productive state of my soul. Thank God, my health is not failing me. And understanding and wisdom must continue to develop. In fact, I don’t feel the number 6:0 at all.

– You look great – a logical question: have you resorted to the services of plastic surgeons?

– I have never hidden this anywhere, although this is a very intimate question. It just seems stupid to me to talk about this on my birthday. I definitely don’t make cucumber masks because they don’t help.

– Victoria, how many times have you been to Donbass?

– I thought you were asking how many times I’ve been to the surgeon (laughs)… More than a dozen times. I’ve been there all the time since 2014, and I don’t even count anymore. The last time I was there was before my birthday – October 20th.

– It’s difficult for many artists to get to the forefront – they want to, but they can’t. How do you do this?

– Anyone who wants to will always find the opportunity to come. We go out directly and negotiate with the commanders. When a person wants, he has no barriers. There is no need to agitate me. For me, this is a code of life – to live and help the country, my army, the guys. I am the daughter of a military officer. My grandfather Zhukov went through two wars. It’s in my genes. But as? The SVO is coming, which means we must be together. And these are not big words. And then, this is done to save my own soul, by me, in any case. Now I am planning to go to the 155th Guards Marine Brigade, to join my fellow countrymen from the Far East.

– How do you feel when you perform in front of the fighters in an open field?

– You know, I feel that this is part of the great history of a united and holy Rus’ and these men of different social levels: young paratroopers who studied and continue to study, went to defend their homeland, or prisoners who made such a choice. They made their male personal choice – this is very cool, although it is very scary.

We hope that after the victory Russia will change. I want to see a Christian Russia, where there will be no frantic stealing, taking bribes, lying, where doctors will again take the Hippocratic oath, where normal education will return, where people will live according to the commandments. As they say, I myself am happy to be deceived, but I believe in it.

– Have you performed in front of the Wagners?

– Yes, this time, the formations of both “Wagner” and “Storm Z”, and paratroopers listened to me – such an amazing fusion of different people under one idea. They all stood in front of me under flags with the face of Christ – this is the most important association.

– How did they react to your songs, what did you receive from them in response, what emotions?

– You know, it’s somehow difficult for me to tell you this, but it was inspiration, there was some kind of impulse. We are like birds of a feather, we see the situation and feel it absolutely the same. We understand with whom we are fighting for what. And the songs that Vadim writes, of course, lift the spirit. People’s eyes sparkle. The song actually does some unique things. After all, people always rose into battle singing, because a person experiences some special state; fear recedes when the fiery word begins to work. And in my songs there is this fieryness.

And people who sit in offices, write articles at the computer or do something else – they don’t feel it that way. And if you go into battle tomorrow, these songs simply work as a weapon. I am very happy that my songs inspire.

– What do you regret?

– I am banned not only on a number of radio stations, but also on federal television channels. Right before my birthday, they canceled the program about me. I would like to say hello to all TV channels: who are you fighting with, good gentlemen? By yourself!

– Why are you banned from our television and radio?

– Because she spoke about traditional values, that homosexuals should not walk the streets and seduce children, riot and organize gay pride parades. They called me right in the TV studio: Russian fascist or anti-Semitic. These labels are given to me all the time.

I remember Solovyov’s broadcast with Kobzon and such comrade Wulf was sitting there. He simply mocked all the things that were sacred to me and said: “you all Russians will then shout – beat the Jews, save Russia.” There is always such incitement, goading of shifters and mimicry – this is characteristic of a Satanist. I don’t even name their nationalities, because Dostoevsky also said “a Russian person without faith is rubbish.”

– Were your concerts banned in Russia?

– Yes, of course, they were and are prohibited. Even now, when the SVO is in its second year, I am forbidden to sing at many concerts. They immediately began to prohibit the performance of my song “Wagner”, despite the fact that I even congratulated the President of Russia with the words of this song: May the grace be with you Our fallen, our Saints And the heavenly army of God. – These are the words from the song “Wagner”.

– Is your husband the author of the words?

– Yes, he writes all the songs. I also have songs based on the words of Yesenin, Pushkin, Akhmatova. The rest are all written by Vadim.

– I don’t remember your repertoire of Pushkin’s poems…

– “A raven flies to a raven” – you don’t know my entire huge repertoire.

– But everyone knows your hit “Wagner” well, which has already been released in its third version. Why is this topic popular?

– All my songs are uplifting, they contain a concentrated message about who we are fighting with. Back in 2022, at my first performance in the hospital, I told the guys – the doors of hell have opened, you were the first to enter this fight against Satanism and the whole world is looking at the Russian soldier and waiting for victory. The premiere of “Storm” has already been released, dedicated to assault troops (“Storm Z” is a unit of prisoners – ed.).

– How did they perceive the death of the founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin?

– This is a terrible situation – when people died. I didn’t know Prigozhin himself, I never saw him, never met or talked to him. He was, of course, a sharp man, very specific, but not very charming – I generally don’t like this type of people. But he was in the SVO, and I have nothing to say or resist to him. And he communicated with those people in their language. This is how the Lord spoke about this: we must communicate with a person in his language, which he speaks.

– Did you know Prigozhin’s reaction to your songs?

– Yes, he spoke openly. He thanked me for the song – that’s all I heard from Prigozhin, he said, ‘a good cool song.’ I did not communicate with anyone from the management of the Wagner PMC. I recognize the guys from Wagner only in hospitals; I am friends with one of them, Vladimir Vladimirovich Zhuravlev. He is missing both legs and really wants someone to pay attention to him and pay him the money he is due, which he was not paid.

– What specific payments are due to Vladimir Zhuravlev?

– For two amputated legs, he needs to pay 4 million rubles. He is seeking these payments, but we are helping him with this. And this is not an isolated case, but a serious situation with many non-payments to the fighters of the Wagner PMC unit.

I think that those people who come from the front line should transfer their patriotic, clear spirit to our society, where there are still many unafraid people, ordinary people and consumers. And these people need to be placed in leadership positions, for example, in our schools, given jobs on television, on radio, and written about them. They clearly understand where is good, where is evil, where is faith, where is love. Because when a person has gone through life and death, he has more rights than you and I to talk about anything at all. This is my clear conviction, by the way, I formulated it thanks to you.

– Who are you celebrating your anniversary with today?

– Only with close relatives.

– What gifts are you expecting?

– No. I warned everyone not to give any gifts, all the money goes only to the front.

– Who sends what funds to your fund to help SVO participants?

– I take care of the farm and house, Vadim (husband) handles all receipts and donations. The fact that I need some gifts, treats – I do this from some of my savings. I make clothes, my second profession is fashion designer. This is not my greatest money, but all my earnings are now also going to the front. My fans of my clothes donate a lot. I have a woman friend who has lived in England for 25 years – she constantly transfers large sums. There are translations from Moscow, from St. Petersburg, from Yekaterinburg.

– Large sums, how much is that?

– For me, 100,000 rubles is a lot of money. But people at the Northern Military District help, in some way, with libraries, and sew clothes – they are also my friends and acquaintances.

– What gifts were you especially grateful for on the front line?

– My first large package consisted of applicators that stopped bleeding. They played a very important role. Applicators were becoming more expensive at that time. I managed to buy them for 150,000 rubles, but in addition to the applicators, I put icons and prayer belts with the 90th Psalm and banners with the face of Christ there. In my opinion, this was the most appropriate gift I ever gave.

– When the fighters asked me to buy carbines, they hooked them to them and pulled out 200s or 300s, the load of which, when fully equipped, was about 110 kg – so the most important thing here is the carbines.
