Vice Speaker of the State Duma offered to pay Russians for timely medical examination

Vice Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov (LDPR) proposed introducing a payment in Russia for the timely passage of a comprehensive preventive medical examination. The amount of such payment, at the initiative of Mr. Chernyshov, should be 15 thousand rubles. He sent a corresponding letter to the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova.
In the text of the document, which was reviewed by TASS, Boris Chernyshov noted that the payment should be transferred automatically after the appearance in the personal account on the “State Services” of the mark on passing the examination as part of a medical examination.
“The adoption of this initiative will not only have a positive impact on the health of Russians, but will also benefit employers and budgets at all levels: a decrease in the number of chronic diseases will lead to a decrease in the number of days missed due to illness,” he stressed. According to Mr. Chernyshov, timely prevention will reduce the burden on the entire healthcare system in Russia.
In Russia, the medical examination program started in 2013. Its implementation is carried out within the framework of the system of compulsory medical insurance, that is, the Russians can undergo a medical examination free of charge under the compulsory medical insurance policy. Citizens can undergo a medical examination at a polyclinic or other medical institution to which they are attached at the place of residence.
