Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Boris Chernyshov believes that in Russian cities it is necessary to raise the issue of creating family spaces. He explained the importance of the problem by the situation in Moscow, which “was overtaken by an epidemic of loneliness.”
Within the walls of Parliament, during a meeting of the working group on the implementation of the state policy for the preservation of the cultural values of children and youth, he outlined the factors influencing the current situation: “Single people, divorces, frivolous duration of family life.”
To combat the “epidemic of loneliness”, Chernyshov called for “raising the issue of creating space” for families in Russian cities.
