The Technopolis Moscow SEZ has completed the development of biomedical cell products (BMCP) for the treatment of non-healing ulcers, wounds and extensive burns. Akrus Biomed, a resident company, has begun preparations for the launch of production.
“In the VI quarter of this year, a resident of the SEZ of the capital plans to start producing biomedical cell products for humans and animals, which he will send for scientific research and testing. The company has invested more than 320 million rubles in the implementation of its project at the Pechatniki site,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.
Preparations that are in no way inferior to foreign analogues were created with the assistance of the Koltsov Institute of Developmental Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. BMCP, based on human skin cells and a special carrier, allow you to restore the skin without scarring and in a short time.
According to Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department, after completing clinical trials and receiving registration certificates, the company intends to produce about 6,000 units of goods per month. The company plans to supply products to the medical institutions of the capital by prior order. The production will employ about 60 highly qualified specialists.
In addition, the company plans to expand the production of BMKP. New drugs can help in the fight against cancer and COVID-19.
