The reorganization will take place on the site of the former Kotlyakovo industrial zone. The territory in the Tsaritsyno district will receive a new life as part of the integrated development project. The decision about this appeared on the website of the capital’s mayor’s office.

“The land plot with an area of more than 6.6 hectares is located between Promyshlennaya Street and Kashirsky Proyezd, within walking distance from the Chertanovo Paveletsky railway station. Investments in the integrated development of the territory are estimated at 14.3 billion rubles. After the site is reorganized, the capital’s budget will receive more than 693 million rubles annually at current prices. In addition, more than 1.6 thousand new jobs will appear in the city,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

Now there are warehouses, part of the territory is littered. The redevelopment of an inefficiently used site will be carried out by the owner, city or investor. In the latter case, the future developer will be determined by bidding.

It is planned to build 130 thousand square meters of real estate on the site.

“The entire site will be occupied by industrial buildings. On the site of the former industrial zone, objects of light, food, pharmaceutical and other industries may appear. Also, the draft decision on the integrated development of the territory provides for the possibility of conducting research and production activities and scientific tests,” said Maxim Gaman, head of the DGI.
