Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov spoke about the support of investors. According to the official, renting land for a ruble a year has become one of the most sought-after measures to help businesses in the capital.

“Since March 2022, Moscow has entered into agreements on the transfer of land at a reduced rate with 13 investors who will build industrial facilities in the food, construction and other industries in the capital within five years. The total area of ​​the provided land exceeds 30 hectares,” said Vladimir Yefimov.

According to the estimates of the vice-mayor, the volume of investments for the implementation of projects will be about 19 billion rubles. Since 2016, Moscow has been leasing land without auctions to investors who are implementing large-scale investment projects.

“According to the agreements, investors will build enterprises in the city for the production of confectionery and meat products, building materials, furniture, packaging, various equipment, including electrical equipment, and other industrial facilities,” concluded Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
