Last year, Moscow sold 944 commercial premises and buildings at auction. The winners of the auctions became the owners of a total of 168,000 square meters of non-residential real estate.
“In 2022, the city sold 944 commercial real estate objects with a total value of 17.5 billion rubles. Bidding was held for 901 non-residential premises and 43 detached buildings, 8 of them were sold together with land plots. 4.9 thousand participants competed for the right to purchase lots,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.
On average, at one auction there were 5 bidders when it came to non-residential premises, 6 bidders each for individual buildings, and 7 bidders each for buildings with a land plot. The largest number of entrepreneurs – 54, participated in the auction for a room of 38 square meters in the 2nd Voikovsky passage.
According to Ivan Shcherbakov, head of the Department for Competition Policy, last year most objects were sold in the Central Administrative District – 159 lots were auctioned here. The second most popular – South-West – 127 procedures, the third – CAO – another 111 lots. The largest of the objects was a five-story building with an area of more than 6,000 square meters in Spiridonievsky Lane. The smallest objects at the auction were premises with an area of 3 “squares” for storerooms in ZAO and TiNAO.
