Red Bull driver Max Verstappen earned $70 million in 2023 and became the highest paid Formula 1 driver, according to calculations Forbes. This year the racer is ahead of schedule became world champion, winning the Qatar Grand Prix on October 7.

Forbes calculated the racers’ earnings based on financial statements, legal documents and press releases, as well as information obtained from conversations with industry insiders. All figures have been rounded to the nearest million. When compiling the rating, the publication did not take into account off-track remuneration, including advertising contracts, as well as taxes and commissions.
