The final stage of the Russian Cup in cross-country skiing is taking place in Kirovsk. On the first day of competition, Veronika Stepanova, competing for the Arkhangelsk region, won a gold medal in the sprint. The second and third places were taken by representatives of Tyumen – Tatyana Sorina and Elizaveta Pantrina.
Today, the Olympic champion confirmed her status as a favorite by completing the 10 km freestyle pursuit race the fastest. Her teammate Maria Istomina took second place. Tatyana Sorina from the Tyumen team closed the top three winners.
