The Russian Football Union is holding the final stage of the FONBET national championship for the first time, the Velvet Seasons complex in Sochi brought together 58 amateur teams from 34 regions.
Over the past decades, many leagues have been formed, under the auspices of which various tournaments in such formats have been held. And now the national federation approached the issue fundamentally. The competition was divided into three stages. During the municipal period from March to August, more than 900 cities and districts became the site of battles. The regional calendar covered the period from August to October, more than 60 subjects of the Russian Federation were involved here.
And now the decisive stage is 116 matches, in which each team will have eight people on the field. Group tournaments will be held first, then the playoffs. Fans will be able to watch all games live on the Futbolny TV channel and digital platforms of the Tricolor platform.
