Velikoluksky athlete Sergey Firsanov became the winner of the Russian Championship in the individual uphill race. This was reported to “MK in Pskov” in the press service of the government of the Pskov region.
The cyclist covered the distance of 14.4 kilometers in 36 minutes 7 seconds.
It is noted that the race took place yesterday, April 26 in Sochi as part of the 68th All-Russian traditional multi-day cycling race. More than 200 athletes from 23 regions of Russia and Belarus took part in the tournament.
The competition will run until April 30th. They are dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Kuban from Nazi invaders. Velikoluksky athlete will continue to participate in the competition.
