VC Tekstilshchik beat Grozny twice in the first round

Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the regular championship of the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo made its debut at the professional level during the current season and immediately began to show excellent results, gaining a foothold in the first half of the tournament table. At the moment, Ivanovo Tekstilshchik ranks 3rd in the standings, second only to its rivals Obninsk and Dagestan. In the upcoming round, the red-blacks will play against Grozny, which can be called the most important confrontation.

Adding “fire” to the confrontation between “Textilshchik” and “Grozny” is the fact that in the first round the red-blacks did not allow their rivals to win in Ivanovo. The meetings between the teams turned out to be fiery and heated, but the winners were always the Tekstilshchik volleyball players, who first turned out to be stronger with a score of 3:0, and then it all came down to the fifth game, where the red-blacks were luckier. If we take into account the standings, Tekstilshchik is 10 points ahead of its rivals from Grozny, but the representatives of Ivanovo have two more matches played.
