Valdai hosts the annual winter marathon ICE VALDAICE

The annual winter marathon ICE VALDAICE takes place in Valdai on February 5th. Athletes from more than nine cities of Russia gathered to take part in the race.
Participants are invited to run one of several distances: 10, 21 or 42 kilometers. For children, a 1 kilometer long track has been prepared. The head of the Valdai region, Yuri Stade, wrote about this on his VKontakte page.
For athletes, locker rooms and showers are equipped. After the race, they can swim in the pool and warm up in the sauna.
Stade added that the routes have been changed this year, they have become more interesting and varied.
Formerly “MK in Veliky Novgorod” informedthat on February 11, the central start of the “Ski Track of Russia” will take place on the Okulovskaya ski track.
