Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk defeated Daniel Dubois from Great Britain. The heavyweight bout ended with a TKO in the ninth round. In the fifth round, the Briton received a warning for a low blow, the fight was interrupted for several minutes.
36-year-old Usyk defended four world titles for the second time – according to the World Boxing Association (WBA Super), World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and International Boxing Organization (IBO) heavyweight. He now has 21 wins (14 by KO) and still no losses. Dubois, 25, now has 19 wins (18 by KO) and 2 losses.
After the victory, the Ukrainian boxer got the opportunity to fight for the title of absolute world champion with the owner of the WBC belt Briton Tyson Fury.
