Users urge to cancel the Moscow concert of rapper Jah Khalib for supporting Ukraine

Internet users are calling for the cancellation of the concert of Kazakh rapper Jah Khalib (Bakhtiyar Mamedov), scheduled for April 23 in Moscow at the Crocus City Hall, because of his support for Ukraine. Many of them indicate that the artist openly supports the terrorist Ukrainian army and possibly sponsors it.

One of the first to speak out about this was journalist Akim Apachev, who posted an angry post on his VKontakte page. In his post, Apachev wrote that Mamedov’s speech in Russia is unacceptable, as he supports the enemy of Russia. The journalist also sent an official request to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation to cancel Mamedov’s concerts in Russia.

“What are you doing there? Aw! Maybe you’re organizing a Zelensky concert in the Kremlin right away? Drive out everyone who defames our country. The enemy remains an enemy, he cannot suddenly become an ally for the sake of a concert in Moscow,” Apachev wrote.

In the comments to the post, most users supported the initiative of Akim Apachev and called on the Russian authorities to ban all stars who criticize Russia. However, not everyone supported this idea, and some voiced their dissatisfaction with the attempt to limit the freedom of art expression.

Bakhtiyar Mammadov himself has not yet responded to calls to cancel his performance, and his concert is still scheduled for April 23 in Moscow.
