General Director of the Admiralty Shipyards Alexander Buzakov died at the age of 66, the press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) reported on Saturday.
The report says that Buzakov “did everything to preserve the workforce and the legacy of the legendary enterprise, always thought about its future, led the Admiralty to new successes.”
It is noted that the life of the general director of the enterprise “cut short untimely, tragically.”
Buzakov worked at the Admiralty Shipyards for 35 years. He began working as an engineer after the shipbuilding institute, the press service said. In August 2011, he became about. head of the company, and in July 2012 was approved as CEO.
One of the oldest shipbuilding enterprises in Russia and the first industrial enterprise in St. Petersburg specializes in the design, manufacture and modernization of civilian ships and the construction of warships, including those with nuclear power plants.
The press service of the shipyard noted that the domestic shipbuilding industry suffered an irreparable loss in connection with the death of Buzakov.
