The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reported that on February 28, Secretary of State of the United States of America Anthony Blinken will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan.
It is specified that the American Secretary of State will take part in the meeting of the heads of foreign affairs agencies of the countries of Central Asia and the United States, and will also hold talks with the government of the country.
The ministry added that this is Blinken’s first official visit to Kazakhstan.
“During his stay in Astana, the US representative will meet with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi,” the Kazakh Foreign Ministry added.
Among other things, Blinken will take part in the ministerial meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Central Asian countries and the United States in the C5 + 1 format.
