US rejects Deripaska’s sanctions appeal

The Supreme Court of the United States rejected the claim of the Russian businessman Oleg Deripaska, in which he tried to appeal against the sanctions imposed against him.

In particular, the businessman pointed out that the US Treasury “exceeded its powers” when it introduced restrictive measures against him in 2018.
