US plan for Armenia related to failure in Ukraine revealed

— Artashes Mamikonovich, how do you evaluate the statement by US State Department representative Matthew Miller that Washington and its allies are preparing some kind of peacekeeping mission in Karabakh? Are the Americans preparing an intervention?

— Matthew Miller said the following verbatim: “Russia has shown that it is not a reliable security partner. The United States believes that an international mission should be stationed in Karabakh to monitor the observance of the rights of local Armenians.”

Miller’s words were reprinted with great pleasure by publications with the headline “The United States has waited in the wings.” This statement by Miller once again proves that Pashinyan is acting under the supervision of the United States, and, most likely, the CIA and Erdogan.

If you carefully read what Pashinyan said literally two days ago, you can see that he again lamented the “unreliability” of Russia in terms of security. And then in the most vile way he nullifies the efforts of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh, who saved the population of Karabakh from genocide.

Pashinyan directly addressed the United States. This is an action pre-agreed with Washington, evidence of which is the unexpected visit of US Assistant Secretary of State Yuri Kim to Yerevan. She brought Pashinyan a cynical letter from Biden.

– What is the cynicism?

— In this letter, Biden expresses condolences over the death of the civilian population of Karabakh. But without Turkey’s consent, Azerbaijan would not even shoot birds with a slingshot. Türkiye is a NATO outpost in the South Caucasus.

He also states that Russia has failed to ensure security in Armenia, and the United States and its allies will be able to do everything to achieve long-term lasting peace in the South Caucasus region. The hypocrisy of the US leadership once again confirms that everything is happening not by chance, but according to a pre-prepared scenario.

— Is this a scenario against Russia?

— Yes, and this script was written not now, but back in 2018, when the coup d’etat took place. Even then, I analyzed the actions of the curators and Pashinyan himself. There is a famous book “198 Methods of Nonviolent Action” by Gene Sharp. 42 of these 198 methods were used during the coup. And now the Americans are in a hurry.

– Why are they in a hurry?

— There are two main reasons. The first I see is that already in the Ukrainian theater of military operations the inevitable defeat of NATO in Ukraine is clearly visible. This is evidenced by numerous interviews with Western politicians and political scientists. They say that sooner or later, or rather sooner, the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will fizzle out. 17 thousand Ukrainian soldiers were killed and wounded in September alone.

– And the second reason for the rush?

— On September 17, elections of the Council of Elders of Yerevan took place in Armenia. This is an extremely important event, since more than half of the population of Armenia is concentrated in Yerevan. The turnout for this election was 28.6 percent. That is, more than 70 percent of voters did not go to these elections. This is a kind of boycott of Pashinyan’s policy, which is based on two pillars: anti-Russian hysteria and a turn towards NATO.

— What will be the consequences of such a reversal for Russia?

“It will mean the withdrawal of the Russian 102nd military base from Gyumri. Withdrawal of the Russian peacekeeping contingent from Nagorno-Karabakh. Withdrawal of the Russian FSB border detachment. If we analyze all this, we understand the following: the United States, feeling its failure in Ukraine, wants to create a new source of tension in the South Caucasus, that is, in Armenia and Azerbaijan.

— How is the current situation presented in the Armenian media?

“They present everything as if Russia is now offended because it has lost Armenia, and will do everything to make Pashinyan “go away.” We have a clearly planned action on the part of the collective West, which can be seen in all actions.

Things have come to the point that political scientists are now being invited to public television in Armenia, and they are competing not on how to protect the population of Nagorno-Karabakh or enlist the support of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, but on who can say the most trenchant bad things about Russia.

— There are 83 political parties in Armenia, 80 of them are opposition. Really, none of them can oppose something to Pashinyan’s policies?

– Everyone is silent. Apparently, they are afraid that some Western publication will write that such and such a house in California or in Europe for so many tens of millions of dollars belongs to a well-known, to put it mildly, one of the former leaders of the Republic of Armenia.

But things won’t work that way. The fate of the country is being decided. But at rallies, reproaches against Russian peacekeepers are heard every now and then.

— What could the peacekeepers do in this situation?

– Absolutely nothing. As soon as the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, including Karabakh, was recognized, this automatically, from the point of view of international law, becomes an internal matter of Azerbaijan. In such a situation, any activity on the part of Russia will be perceived by the international community, represented by the collective West and their hangers-on – Japan, South Korea and Australia, with a new squeal: “We said that Russia is an aggressor, now it is usurping the territory of sovereign Azerbaijan.”

This is a well thought out technology. These ultra-patriotic, and essentially treasonous calls for a turn to the West are made either by stupid people or by people hired by Western intelligence services. They don’t say at all what will happen to the Armenian economy if it turns to the West. What will happen if the country leaves the Eurasian Economic Union, what will happen to security if we leave the CSTO. And such conversations are already in full swing.

Read the material “It’s a matter of self-interest”: the reason for the detention of Ruben Vardanyan has been named.”
