The US military doctor was accused of trying to transfer medical information about his colleagues to Russia. This became known based on their court documents.
US military doctor Jamie Lee Henry and his wife, Anna Gabrielyan, an anesthesiologist, have been charged by US authorities with passing on confidential medical information about US Army personnel.
This was found out with the help of a covert FBI agent who was able to get in touch with Gabrielyan and posed as a Russian diplomat. Prior to this, the secret service agent found out that the anesthetist called the Russian embassy and offered “Russia assistance – her own and her husband’s.”
The indictment states that the couple were already ready to hand over confidential medical information about the condition of individuals who are “connected with the US government and the army.”
