A US military base in Syria was attacked by drones, RT reports citing a story from the Al Mayadeen TV channel.
As noted, we are talking about a base in the Syrian border town of al-Tanf.
The story claims that it was attacked by drones of Shiite armed groups.
Last week it was reported that US Army bases in Iraq were attacked three times on Thursday. The report says that there were no deaths among the personnel of the American bases, three were slightly injured and returned to their duties after receiving medical assistance. Thus, the Ain al-Assad airbases west of Baghdad and Al-Harir in Erbil province were attacked using drones, which were intercepted by air defense systems. Also in the Mosul area, an improvised explosive device went off along the route of a convoy with American military equipment.
In general, during October, American army bases located in Iraq and Syria were attacked at least 40 times. No casualties were reported, but information about 56 wounded was published.
