US Justice Department: Two Americans confess to stealing Biden’s daughter’s diary

US law enforcement agencies received confessions in the theft of the personal diary of the daughter of President Joe Biden Ashley Biden from two residents of the state of Florida. This was reported by the US Department of Justice.
According to the agency, 58-year-old Robert Kurlander and 40-year-old Aimee Harris admitted that they conspired to steal and take out the property of a relative of a candidate for the presidency of the United States. The property was sold in New York for $40,000.
Ashley Biden’s diary was stolen in the fall of 2020, that is, before Biden took office as President of the United States. Along with the diary, several other belongings of the President’s daughter were stolen.
For the theft of property, the defendants face up to 5 years in prison. In addition, Kurlander and Harris agreed to pay damages and pay $20,000 to the injured party.
