The United States may stop the supply of arms and the transfer of military technology to Saudi Arabia in response to the OPEC + deal, under which it was decided to cut oil production.
This initiative was made by a member of the US House of Representatives Ro Hanna and Senator Richard Blumenthal.
Politicians accused Riyadh of “conspiring” with Russia to cut oil production by 2 million barrels per day, thereby raising the price of Russian gas.
They added that this decision was a pinpoint strike by Saudi Arabia on the United States. According to the senators, the refusal to supply American weapons to Saudi Arabia will be a serious problem for Riyadh.
The US senators intend to submit the corresponding bill to Congress on October 11.
