US congressmen voted against excluding aid to Kyiv from the State Department budget

The US House of Representatives voted against excluding aid to Kyiv from the State Department budget for next year.

The amendment of the eccentric congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was rejected by a majority vote. 342 members of the lower house against 90 of their colleagues.

The legislative initiative introduced a ban on providing financial assistance to the Ukrainian regime as part of budgetary allocations for the activities of the State Department and foreign assistance in the next year.

As RIA Novosti clarifies, the draft budget proposes to agree on a reduced amount of funds for Ukraine in the form of $4.5 billion through the Pentagon and $1.65 billion for the State Department for the period until November 17.
