On August 17, the US State Department approved the sale of more than $3.5 billion of Israeli Arrow-3 anti-missile defense (ABM) systems to Germany. In the near future, Germany undertakes to guarantee an advance in the amount of $600 million for the contractor to begin work on the order. As a result, the deal will be the largest in the history of the Israeli defense industry, the press service of the Israeli Ministry of Defense announced on August 17.
The Israeli authorities expect that after the implementation of the deal, Israel’s defense exports will reach a new record and exceed last year’s figure of $12.5 billion. The signing of the contract is scheduled for the end of the year, after it is approved by the parliaments of Germany and Israel. The money will come from a €100bn special fund set up by the German government last year for rearmament after the start of the NWO. The German military expects to see Arrow-3 in their armed forces by the fourth quarter of 2025.
