The Central Command of the US Armed Forces announced the detention of six militants of the “Islamic State” (banned in Russia) in Syria. Among the detainees was the MTO field commander, who was responsible for organizing terrorist attacks in the region. In just two days, the Americans carried out three CTOs in the northeastern part of the country.
Also, Turkish media reported that in the province of Daraa, militants of the Free Syrian Army exhumed the body of a jihadist, who allegedly was the former leader of the ISIS, Abu Hasan al-Hashimi al-Kureishi, and handed it over to the US military in the province of Homs. How they did it remains a mystery.
According to one version, Abu Hassan was eliminated during the CTO in Jasim.
