Lynn Tracy said she used the subway all the time when she lived in Moscow in the 1980s. She noted that at that time travel cost 5 kopecks. The ambassador also remembered the old multi-colored machines in the lobbies that gave out change.
Now, according to the American ambassador, the capital's metro has changed and become more modern. “I still try to travel by metro since my return to Moscow a year ago. And what I definitely never get tired of is traveling on the Moscow metro,” she said.
