The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has announced that the US is providing an additional $250 million to Kyiv through the Ukraine Agricultural Sustainability Initiative following Russia’s withdrawal from the grain deal.
The funds will go to help farmers produce, store and export grain.
Earlier, Russia notified Ukraine, Turkey and the UN that it objects to the extension of the grain deal and withdraws guarantees for the safety of navigation, and also turns off the maritime humanitarian corridor.
