Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Governor of the Saratov Region Roman Busargin. About it reported Kremlin press office.
Busargin reported to the head of state on the socio-economic development of the region, healthcare, the problem of emergency housing, the construction of kindergartens, etc.
At a meeting with the president, the governor asked to support the creation of a federal center for unmanned aerial systems in Saratov. Busargin stressed that 33 enterprises in the region are engaged in the radio-electronic industry and aviation systems, and there are specialized departments in universities.
According to the governor, the key program in the region is the emergency housing resettlement program. As of January 1, 2022, there were 911 houses in this condition with a total area of about 600,000 square meters. m., in which 30,000 people live. This year, 202 apartment buildings for 7,500 people should be resettled. In addition, the region approved an application for 6 billion rubles, due to which it will be possible to resettle 5,500 people from 174 houses. However, there are five houses left that were not included in the program. In this regard, Busargin asked the president to help, since the problem can be solved on behalf of the president within the framework of targeted funding.
The governor also touched upon the topic of modernizing the high-speed tram, which will require more than 17 billion rubles. Putin noted that it is necessary to change lines for new trains. Busargin said that this is exactly what the allocated money will go to, but there is no money for the rolling stock.
The President discussed with the head of the Saratov region and the support of the participants in the special operation in Ukraine. Thus, there are 13 support measures in the region. Of these, five are aimed at helping the military with children. Putin asked not to quit this job.
