According to the press service of the US Central Command, the American aircraft carrier Gerald Ford has arrived in the eastern Mediterranean.
It is clarified that the ship arrived accompanied by a strike group on Tuesday, October 10, amid the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
“The carrier strike group of the US Navy aircraft carrier Gerald Ford has arrived in the eastern Mediterranean to contain a possible escalation of the situation,” the statement said.
Also, according to the TsKHAL, the first plane with American ammunition landed at the Nebatim base in Israel, which is designed “to be able to deliver significant strikes and prepare for additional combat scenarios.”
