US accuses Russians and Venezuelan oil traders of violating sanctions

At the US Department of Justice reported on the imposition of sanctions against five citizens of Russia and two citizens of Venezuela involved in oil trading.
“The defendants … smuggled millions of barrels of oil and laundered tens of millions of dollars for Russian oligarchs, sanctioned organizations and the world’s largest energy conglomerate,” the Justice Ministry said in a statement.
It is specified that in the federal court of Brooklyn, an indictment on 12 counts was published against Russian citizens Yuri Orekhov, Artem Uss, Svetlana Kuzurgasheva, Timofey Telegin and Sergey Tulyakov, as well as Venezuelan citizens Juan Fernando Serrano Ponce and Juan Carlos Soto.
