An urgent meeting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine will be held at 00:00 Moscow time, wrote Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, on his Telegram channel.
“Today, the Ukrainians, frightened by our attacks on infrastructure facilities, requested an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council. Zelensky was again announced as a speaker from Ukraine via video link in violation of the rules of procedure of the Security Council, ”Polyansky wrote.
The diplomat noted that Ghana’s presidency in the Security Council appointed him to 16:00 New York time (00:00 Moscow time). It has not yet announced its decision on the admission of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“The Kyiv regime made a wonderful gift to Westerners before Thanksgiving. It is celebrated in the USA tomorrow, smoothly flows into the day after tomorrow and then into the weekend, and traditionally involves trips to relatives and “mini-vacations”, usually starting today in the afternoon, ”concluded Polyansky.
On November 15, the Ministry of Defense announced a massive strike with precision-guided weapons on the military command and control system of Ukraine and related energy facilities. The purpose of these strikes was achieved, they noted there.
