Ekaterinburg basketball club “Uralmash” beat “Irkut” from Irkutsk in the Superleague regular season match.
For technical reasons, the match was held in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The first quarter did not promise problems for the current champions and ended with a score of 21:11.
The second game segment began with the breakthrough of Irkut, which is coached by Mikhail Karpenko, who in 2019 managed to work for a short time at Uralmash. The guests achieved an equal score twice, but they could not resist the Orange-Black-Greens on equal terms for a long time – by the end of the third quarter, the hosts’ advantage reached 21 points.
In the final game segment, which turned into a formality, Uralmash further strengthened the advantage. The final score is 91:66.
All the players of the “factory workers” included in the application scored points, including 17-year-old debutant Isso Eronshoev. Kirill Mikheev became the top scorer with 18 points.
Uralmash will also play the next match in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The opponent will be Dynamo Vladivostok.
