Ural rescuers played volleyball in Novy Urengoy: Yamal residents took 4th place

On May 21, in Novy Urengoy, the second game day of volleyball competitions among employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Urals ended. The Yamal rescuers took fourth place, according to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
In Novy Urengoy, the first stage of the Spartakiad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia among the main departments of the Ural Federal District was held. Volleyball matches were held at the Zvezdny Sports Palace.
The team of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug did not enter the top three and took fourth place. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Chelyabinsk region won the tournament, rescuers from the Sverdlovsk region came second, and firefighters from Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug took third place. The representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kurgan and Tyumen regions closed the standings.
“The final matches were held, as always, with a heat of passion, both the audience and the teams themselves, who showed a beautiful and productive game, were inspiring,” said the Yamal Ministry of Emergency Situations.
