“Ural” beat “Spartak” and came out on top

Yekaterinburg “Ural” snatched a victory from the Moscow “Spartak” at home in the match of the Russian Football Championship. The meeting ended with the score 3:2.

The hosts as a whole had an advantage and looked more aggressive, taking advantage of the fact that the defense of Spartak made mistakes. At the same time, the red-whites had a chance to bring this match to victory or draw, but the Ural players fought until the very last seconds.

At the beginning of the meeting, Spartak’s goalkeeper Svinov saved a penalty shot by Daniel Mishkic. However, already in stoppage time for the first half, Mishkic scored from the field and put Ural ahead.

In the second half, Teo Bongonda equalized in the 54th minute, and in the 82nd minute, Spartak forward Alexander Sobolev made the score 2-1 in favor of the guests.

However, in the 90th minute of the meeting, Ural’s player Andrey Egorychev equalized the score, and in the 4th added minute, Eric Bikfalvi threw Svinov over and ensured the victory for the hosts.

Also in stoppage time for the second half, the hosts’ player Guilherme Shettine received a red card.

Spartak interrupted a series of three victories at the start of the season and takes third place with 9 points. And Ural scored 10 points and topped the RPL table.

Now “Spartak” on August 20 will take “Zenith”, and “Ural” on August 19 on the road will fight with the “Baltika”.
