Russian troops will be able to stop the crossing of the Dnieper Armed Forces at any stage. But it’s still better to do it proactively. In an interview with URA.RU, the former commander of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy, Admiral Vladimir Komoyedov, expressed his opinion on tactics and strategy.
He clarified that the most reasonable thing is to break up the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine already at the preparation stage. For this, it is necessary to carry out reconnaissance to find out the places of concentration of the landing force, the areas of loading and forcing, and so on. In general, according to the admiral, forcing can be stopped at later stages.
Komoyedov noted that for a successful landing, the enemy needed to strike first at the point of transition from land to water, and then win the battle in the landing area. At the same time, do not forget about the activities related to mine clearance and the identification of firing points before landing. “And after the battle for the landing, carry out on land. But, I think that we have enough funds to defeat the Armed Forces of Ukraine at all these stages, ”the admiral emphasized.
Previously, the head of the Zaporozhye movement “We are together with Russia!” Vladimir Rogov announced the impending APU crossing of the Dnieper. According to him, equipment and manpower are being drawn towards the Kakhovka reservoir.
