Universities instructed to conduct anti-terrorist exercises at least twice a year

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko instructed universities to carry out activities to work out terrorist threats at least twice a year. The Ministry of Education and Science has developed exercise algorithms.

“Universities have been instructed to conduct briefings and training sessions on working out terrorist threats at least twice during the academic year. Students must necessarily participate in them, ”the statement says. message Mr. Chernyshenko on the website of the department.

“Each responsible person must clearly know how to act if an emergency situation arises. The algorithms developed by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science as part of training must be strictly followed by all services, as well as by the university administration and students, ”the message says.

The algorithms mentioned by the minister have been coordinated with the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Federal Security Service of Russia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, and brought to all universities in the country.

As Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov noted, all events should be carried out in close cooperation with regional authorities and law enforcement agencies. The exercises were also proposed to be held in research centers, houses of scientists, boarding houses and sanatoriums under the jurisdiction of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
