United Russia will use AI technology in regional elections

United Russia plans to use neural networks during the regional elections, which will be held on a single voting day on September 10. About it informed Deputy Secretary of the General Council of the Party Sergei Perminov in a conversation with RBC.

“United Russia intends to use all available public developments in the field of artificial intelligence, Perminov emphasized, both for the purposes of forecasting and analytics, “and for creative“ tips ”, including, for example, a technological assault, which such systems cope with in a matter of seconds”, as well as for generating video materials and images,” the message says.

According to Perminov, it will be impossible to win now without the use of artificial intelligence technologies. He clarified that neural networks can help in the presentation of party plans, as well as in attracting new supporters.

Perminov also added that the party intends to use both foreign developments, including ChatGPT and Midjourney, and domestic ones – Kandinsky, which was created by Sberbank.

The voting day will take place on September 10th. On this day, gubernatorial elections will be held in 21 regions, by-elections to the State Duma in the Simferopol single-member constituency No. 19 in Crimea, as well as elections to 20 legislative assemblies and 16 city dumas. Former CEC head Ella Pamfilova reportedthat in 20 regions the possibilities of remote electronic voting (DEV) will be used in the elections. The final list will be formed only in the summer.
