“United Russia” will hold a “Victory Dictation” in Russia and 50 foreign countries on April 26

The United Russia party announced the holding of the “Victory Dictation” on April 26 in Russia and 50 countries of the world, dedicated to the history of the Great Patriotic War. This year, the tasks will be related to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad, the entry of Soviet troops onto the borders of the USSR, the anniversaries of front-line writers and other important events.

The event will take place in all Russian regions, as well as in 50 countries around the world, where it will be available in five languages: English, French, Arabic, Chinese and Spanish. Last year, the number of sites exceeded 21 thousand, and the number of participants reached 1.9 million people.

The coordinator of the “Historical Memory” project from the party, chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein, noted that this year it is planned to increase the number of platforms and participants. Testing will take place not only in schools and museums, but also at train stations, airports, on trains and airplanes, covering all iconic places associated with the Great Patriotic War.

An important element of the action will be the participation of Russian regions. For example, in Kurgan the central site will be the Shadrinsk College of Finance and Economics, which will accept about 300 people. The training and knowledge testing will be carried out by employees of the executive committee of the Kurgan regional branch of the United Russia party at the site of the Public Support Headquarters.

Questions for the “Victory Dictation” are developed by leading historians, and preparatory tests are also available on the project website. The event is held with the support of various organizations, such as the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Russian Historical Society and others.
