United Russia deputies received traditional recommendations from the party on working with voters in the regions. The main topic in them was support for the nomination of Vladimir Putin in the presidential elections. United Russia members will tell you how they will participate in the campaign, and the potential victory of the current head of state will be proposed to be considered “our common.”

United Russia provided deputies with recommendations for working with voters during two regional weeks (from December 25 to 31 and from January 9 to 14) with a break for the New Year holidays. “Kommersant” got acquainted with the document.

If usually the first item in recommendations is the topic of a special military operation (SVO), now it has been pushed into second place by support for the nomination of Vladimir Putin for the presidency. United Russia will tell citizens that the party will accompany the presidential campaign at all stages from the nomination process and collection of signatures to campaigning and monitoring the purity of voting. According to the recommendations, United Russia is the party of the president and the party of victory. “Mass support for Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin in the elections will be our common victory,” the document says.

As for the special operation, deputies are traditionally recommended to deal with issues of assistance to the families of Russian military personnel, provide assistance to provide support for fellow countrymen participating in the military military service, and also talk about laws in this area adopted at the federal and regional levels. Another traditional topic is the implementation of the party’s people’s program. Deputies are advised to explain to voters that the implementation of the people’s program would be impossible without the support of the president. They will also be informed about the decisions of the 21st Party Congress, which was held on December 17 “after a two-year break in the work of the highest party body, associated with an unprecedented increase in external pressure on Russia and the mobilization of all the forces of United Russia to support the participants of the North Military District and residents of new regions.” The main decision of the congress was, again, support for the nomination of Vladimir Putin. In addition, the United Russia congress decided to make membership fees mandatory for United Russia members and for this purpose changed the party charter.

The recommendations state that United Russia will use three main ideological lines during the presidential campaign: “Pride. Confidence. Future”. “When speaking about pride, United Russia members mean both pride in the country’s achievements, its history and formation, and pride in today’s heroes: fighters, doctors, social activists,” the document notes. By confidence, party members mean “the stability of the country’s political and economic systems, confidence in the future and the correctness of the development vector chosen by the president.” The third direction is related to youth.

The recommendations also contain quotes from the president’s speech at the congress: “The authority of United Russia and public trust in the party are based on its clear patriotic position and many years of work for the people”; “Working with public opinion leaders, professionals, volunteers, heroes of the Northern Military District should be the most important for United Russia. Many of our party members and supporters are fighting on the front line.” The authors of the recommendations also quote the speech of party leader Dmitry Medvedev, who at the congress also set tasks for the party members related to the presidential elections: “United Russia must approach the presidential campaign absolutely prepared and consolidated. The party needs to mobilize its activists and supporters to avoid any disruptions during the election campaign. Stop any attempts to influence the course of the campaign from the outside or arrange provocations, spread false, harmful information, or disrupt public order. The president’s victory must be natural, legitimate and absolutely indisputable. This is the business of every member of United Russia.”

United Russia members are also advised to talk with voters about the topics that the president raised during the direct line: unemployment, minimum wage, rising prices, etc.

And finally, deputies from United Russia are advised to take part in the New Year’s events “Tree of Wishes”, “Happy New Year, Veteran!” and “Silver Tree”.
