Kazan basketball club UNICS defeated Krasnodar Lokomotiv-Kuban in the VTB United League play-off final series. The match ended with a score of 98:89 (26:17, 32:20, 19:28, 21:24). The meeting took place in Kazan at the Basket Hall arena.
UNICS for the first time became the winner of the VTB United League and the champion of Russia. The club won the series with a score of 4:1 after five meetings (a series of up to four wins).

CSKA Moscow became the bronze medalist of the tournament. The club beat last year’s champion Zenit St. Petersburg in the series for third place.
