After an appeal from a number of Russian charitable foundations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is ready to slightly adjust its proposal to ban the purchase of imported ventilators for state hospitals and clinics. In the new version, the restrictions will not affect devices needed for home use by patients with a number of rare diseases, but otherwise the position of the ministry remains the same. In its justification, the Ministry of Industry and Trade states the risks of suspending the supply of devices, components and consumables by unfriendly countries.
