UN: 7155 civilians have died since the beginning of the military conflict in Ukraine

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has published report with estimates of the victims of the Russian-Ukrainian military conflict. From the report it follows that since the beginning of the military conflict in Ukraine, 7155 civilians have died. At the same time, 177 people died in January of this year. In total, 11.6 thousand people were injured, 495 of them in January.
Among the dead civilians in January: 67 men, 48 women, 4 girls and 5 boys, as well as 53 adults whose gender could not be determined. 167 of them were killed by shells, 10 by mines or shells left after the fighting.
For all the time, 2853 men, 1927 women, 180 girls and 226 boys, as well as 32 children and 1937 adults, whose gender has not yet been established, died. At the same time, 7.8 thousand people died in parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions controlled by Ukraine, 2.2 thousand people died in the territory of the DPR and LPR. In other Ukrainian regions, 8.7 thousand people died during the entire conflict.
