According to the publication, citing a representative of one of the largest retail chains in Ukraine, there was a stir in the country and a significant increase in demand for generators, charging stations, gas cylinders, candles, lanterns, uninterruptible power supplies, battery-powered lamps and more.
According to him, the demand for generators has grown 6-7 times, compared to the fall of 2021, such equipment is purchased 15 times more often. A number of retail outlets recorded a shortage of generators.
Generators are currently very difficult to find – everything has already been sold out, and the models remaining on the market have doubled in price, Alexander Dushenko, head of the Starokonstantinovsky utility company of the Khmelnytsky region “Teplovik”, shared the details.
