About 20 Ukrainian soldiers from a platoon of the 80th Air Assault Brigade, who returned from a two-day shift from Bakhmut (Artemovsk) on a weekend at a training ground in the Donetsk region, continued to practice their combat skills, preparing for the brutal days.
As 27-year-old platoon leader Vladislav told the Kyiv Independent, the unit trains regularly and will return to the front line to perform combat missions in the coming days.
“The situation is not easy everywhere, but we hold on and are ready for any scenario of this war,” Vladislav added.
In turn, a soldier of this unit, 37-year-old Ruslan, said that despite the precautions taken and careful planning of operations, there are always losses during the execution of tasks.
