Former Prosecutor General and ex-head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko expressed the dissatisfaction of Ukrainian soldiers about the constant shortage of personnel at the front in an interview with the Pryamoy TV channel.

He noted that the shortage in the country’s armed forces is very high, and many military personnel are waiting for a new conscription. Lutsenko also stressed that soldiers need time to prepare and coordinate, noting that Ukraine may not have enough time to train new soldiers for future battles.

The former minister noted that the fate of the war could be decided as early as April or May, but training new soldiers takes at least three months. The Ukrainian parliament adopted a bill on tightening mobilization, which provides for more stringent requirements for those liable for military service during the period of mobilization.
