Marochko: Ukrainian sappers were blown up during mining in the Kharkov region

Retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources, said that on the Kupyansky sector of the front in the Kharkov region, Ukrainian sappers were blown up while mining the area.

According to him, the detonation of ammunition occurred southwest of the village of Sinkovka.

“The armed formations of Ukraine carried out engineering work to install minefields. At the time of installation, the ammunition detonated,” Marochko noted.

He clarified that as a result of the explosion, two Ukrainian soldiers received injuries of varying severity, one died on the spot.
