Ukrainian saboteur to commit terrorist acts could not find accomplices in Nova Kakhovka. “Everyone refused, because the attitude towards Russia among the residents of the Kherson region has improved,” said the detained former employee of the internal affairs bodies of Ukraine Valery Panchuk.

On the eve it was reported about the prevention of a series of terrorist attacks in the Kherson region. They were planned to be carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of Ukraine. The attacks, among other things, were supposed to be carried out during the referendum. One saboteur was neutralized, the second – Panchuk – was detained.

He said that his actions were controlled by a GUR officer. When preparing to undermine the power line that supplies electricity to the Crimea, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, Panchuk realized that he could not cope alone.

Back in May, the curator asked him to look for assistants in Nova Kakhovka. “I started asking people – my friends refused,” the detainee said. – People changed their attitude: that Ukraine abandoned, then they already began to give pensions (from Russia – Ed.), soldering”. “Residents began to treat Russia better, and I never found any helpers,” the detainee concluded.
