Slutsky: Moldova’s course towards European integration resembles a Ukrainian rake
The possible course towards European integration of Moldova is reminiscent of the “Ukrainian rake”. This opinion was expressed by the head of the Duma international committee and chairman of the LDPR Leonid Slutsky on Monday, April 8.
According to the politician, Moldovan President Maia Sandu is consistently leading the country along the path of the Kyiv regime. At the same time, the West is looking for backup anti-Russian bridgeheads in the event of the inevitable failure of the junta of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
Gagauzia is protesting against European integration and is preparing to secede from Moldova in this scenario; there is also the problem of Transnistria, which is not being solved, but is only aggravated by the current Moldovan authorities, the deputy concluded.
